Shellharbour deputy mayor outline더킹카지노s gm concerns over new police technology
He said the department had been in discussions with the city’s chief inspector and council about “what we needed to do to increase confidence in police”.
“The key element that is at the centre of that is that police personnel are trained, that they are competent and they are able to make appropriate decisions and it will be important for us to understand the risks associated with any potential changes before any changes can go ahead.”
He said that the department was working with the city’s director of police (DPP) on what it could do to improve confidence.
He also said a council inquiry into the shooting was underway.
“There are several things that we’re doing but I think it’s still too early to say that a conclusion has been reached,” he said.
“The council has a full inquiry into the circumstances leading to the officer’s death.”
Mr O’Halloran said the department believed there was nothing to suggest anything unusual occurred on the night of the shooting.
He said police were still investigating the officer’s death.
“This is a highly sensitive case and the department will continue to work closely with the Police Force, the NSW State Opposition and our community in the months and years to come to make sure that this does not have any impact on the investigation or the final verdict,” he said.
