On a mission to be “on the forefront of the green revolution”, Ether’s energetic young professionals devote their time towards maximizing the efficiency of renewable and conventional energy production, transfer and consumption.
Ether’s products are focused around smart grids, energy management and renewables. The company caters to both corporate and private clients, offering an end-to-end range of products and services that reduce both costs and environmental impact.
Alongside developing its own portfolio of products, Ether has formed partnerships with many well-known vendors and also serves as a consultant to clients who are looking to diversify their portfolios by investing in the energy sector. To date, the company has delivered over 70,000 energy meters and installed more than 12MW of renewables, and its software applications are monitoring over 200 energy installations. True to its goal, Ether has also set up cleverenergy.gr, a website dedicated to providing the public with information about clean energy through photovoltaics.
Ether’s young team of enthusiastic experts turned their passion for efficient energy management into a profitable, growing business. In the few years since it was founded, the company has successfully established itself in its field and has seen its turnover increase dramatically. Ether was the only Greek company to participate as an exhibitor in the Metering Europe 2011 conference—the world’s premier smart energy event—and is currently in the process of opening two new branch offices in the Europe Union.

Why Ether is Successful
Ether provides a full range of services that covers everything from design and engineering to installation and management of energy-related systems. By taking an end-to-end approach, the company can offer clients tailor-made solutions and competitive pricing, leading to strong customer loyalty and customer retention.
The Innovative Edge
Technical know-how and large-scale project experience allow Ether’s R&D team to create the flexible, “field-ready” products that make Ether stand out from the competition. Sixty percent of the company’s product portfolio is currently created in-house, and the team continuously works on creating the innovative products that give Ether its competitive edge.
Overcoming initial difficulties in securing funding, Ether steadily built itself as a successful and profitable operation. Today, despite the hostile economic climate, Ether has an annual turnover of over six million Euros, with no outstanding loans or other obligations.
Goals for 2013
In addition to seeing through the completion of a two-million-Euro project on the company’s premises that houses the entire range of its portfolio, Ether’s goals for the coming year are to expand its partner network and to create new distribution channels beyond its established markets.
